Picard : A Frozen Foodie Paradise

Picard is what would happen if you took the frozen section at Trader Joe's but expanded it into an entire store! They even have special "cooler carts" that you can use while you shop so that everything stays cold. There's a wide variety: frozen fruits and veggies, frozen meals, frozen salads (very yummy), soups, hors d'oeuvres, escargot, desserts, you name it! It's one of my favorite food stores since moving to France.

I thought this cake was pretty cool, since it's pre-decorated as a flowerpot! You just defrost it in your fridge overnight and it's ready. These Haagen-Daz ice cream and eclairs samplers were neat too. 

     

Appetizers (including mini croque monsieurs and mini ham and cheese croissant-wiches) and fancy hors d'oeuvres

Pasta salads and sushi that you just thaw overnight in your fridge for the next day!
